Jan Knudtzon Sommerfelt-Pettersen is a Norwegian Rear Admiral and former Chief of the Norwegian Armed Forces Medical Services. He is a MD and specialist in Public Health. Sommerfelt-Pettersen now works as a special advisor in Health Trust Staff at Haukeland University Hospital in Bergen. Jan Sommerfelt-Pettersen will talk about challenges related to health preparedness at the outer edge of the crisis spectrum, complex threats or hybrid situations, and war.

Audra Diers-Lawson (PhD, 2006 University of Texas-Austin) is a Professor of Risk and Crisis Communication and the Head of the new WHO-Europe Collaboration Center for Risk Communication, Community Engagement, and Infodemic Management (RCCE-IM) in health emergencies housed in the School of Communication, Leadership, and Marketing at Kristiania University of Applied Technology. She will present some of her research,  focusing on connections between risk, crisis, stakeholders and organizations.
