About the research project

infoSHIELD develops innovative technologies and evidence based interventions to strengthen citizens' resilience against online disinformation. By combining artificial intelligence, media literacy, socio cognitive resilience training, and personalized vulnerability profiling, the project aims to improve disinformation detection, reduce susceptibility to manipulation, and empower users to navigate complex digital information environments. Through an international collaboration, infoSHIELD seeks to enhance democratic processes, strengthen societal resilience, and address critical knowledge gaps in the fight against AI generated misinformation.
