KODEM webinar: The CRONOS panel

Ruxandra Comănaru, City St George’s, University of London, holds this semester's first KODEM-webinar. She will speak about the CRONOS panel, a mixed mode panel recruited off the back of the European Social Survey.

During this webinar, Ruxandra will talk about the developments that led to CRONOS-3 panel, which was instrumental in the data collection for two large Horizon Europe projects – Infra4NextGen and SoGreen. The webinar will introduce the audience to the wealth of high-quality data produced as part of these projects.

About the speaker

Ruxandra Comănaru is a Research Fellow at European Social Survey (ESS) Headquarters, based at City St George’s, University of London. She is Acting Head of the CRONOS panel, a cross-national, probability-based input-harmonised self-completion panel, currently running in 11 ESS countries.  Ruxandra’s research interests include the design and adaptation of surveys for mixed modes of data collection, with a focus on enhancing the methodological accuracy of self-completion methods. She is also interested in questionnaire design, translation and cultural equivalence of research concepts.
