The development of children’s human rights

This project explored the legal development in care order cases in the European Court of Human Rights (ECtHR) and what the international criticism has meant for children's rights in Norway.

This project aimed to investigate how the ECtHR navigates the balance between the rights of biological parents and those of children in care order cases. Furthermore, the project aimed to explore the Convention on the Rights of the Children (CRC) imprint on judgments from the ECtHR.
