Grieg forskerskole i interdisiplinære musikkstudier
Grieg Research School in Interdisciplinary Music Studies (GRS) is a regional network for research education established in December 2010. It operates through a consortium of four owner institutions: Volda University College, University of Stavanger, Western Norway University of Applied Sciences, and the University of Bergen. The school's mission is to facilitate research training across music disciplines, including musicology, music therapy, music education, and artistic research.

We are delighted to invite researchers, scholars, artists, and practitioners from any field engaged with music and the arts to participate in the GRS International Summer School 2026. This blended-learning course integrates online preparation with in-person activities at Høgskulen på Vestlandet’s Stord campus, 16–18 June.
