Course description

Objectives and Content

This course aims at enabling the students to understand which factors are important in the design and use of interactive systems. Several methods and examples will be presented. An overall objective is to decide on the factors that influence the usability of an interactive system. The seminar provides an introduction of the human as a user, how users think and which strategies users apply when they solve problems using a computer. Theories for Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) are introduced and different accesses to interactive systems are explained.
