Objectives and Content
Introduction course TC-2 with one warp-system
The goal is for the student to be able to construct a simple file, based on basic bindings, and be practically able to weave this file themself.
Content: The course provides a simple introduction to binding theory. (Bindings based on 1 warp and 1 weft system). A simple review of Photoshop as a tool for constructing files, as well as the process of creating a digital file intended for the small TC-2 loom. Practical training and guidance in making bobbins with weftthread, as well as practical guidance in weaving on this loom.

Required Previous Knowledge
Elementary knowledge of weaving and construction, required through taking a MEME/PRO course in the weaving workshop or completed courses in weaving at other institutions.

Access to the Course
Teaching and learning methods
There is a group of 5 students participating. The course consists of binding theory (bindings based on 1 warp and 1 weft system), a simple review of Photoshop as a tool for constructing files (necessary tools, settings and sizes) and the process of creating a file. The teacher will go through the process step by step, and then you work independently (with the possibility of guidance) to create your own file on computers available at our weaving workshops. Bring your own laptop if you have Adobe Photoshop installed. You will be given a simple step by step description in paper form. Practical training in making spools. Review of simple settings on the loom, as well as practical instructions on how to use the loom / loom.
Time and place: 21 October 09:00-12:00. - Theory and training. Special Printing Workshop 13:00-15:00 - Making bobbins, settings/start of the loom and weaving.
