Objectives and Content

Learning Outcomes

The course provides an overview of Scandinavian literature in the 20th century, with a focus on Norwegian literature. The course is intended for foreign students who are already studying Scandinavian languages and/or literature.

The aim of the course is to learn how to apply literary analysis, interpretation, genre theory and literary historiography to the Scandinavian literature of the period.
