Teaching will focus on central parts of the grammar syllabus. Student-active forms of learning are used, with a strong emphasis on individual initiative. Students are expected to prepare thoroughly for seminars and carry out follow-up work and working on assignments.

If fewer than five students register for a course, the teaching offer can be adapted to the number of students.

Compulsory Assignments and Attendance

There are two compulsory assignments on selected topics from the syllabus. These must be written in Spanish and completed within the deadline for the assignments.

Information about the assignments and their submission deadlines is given at the beginning of the semester. Each assignment is assessed as approved/not approved.

In accordance with Forskrift for studium at UiB, if one or more of assignments were not approved on their first submission, students have the opportunity to have a second attempt to have assignments approved. The assignments must be approved in order to take the exam.

The approval of compulsory work requirements is valid in the teaching semester and the following semester.

Forms of Assessment
The form of assessment is a written school exam in Spanish with a duration of five hours. Both language and content are assessed, and are the basis for determining the grade in the course.
