You do not need to take the placement test if you:
- are applying for a Norwegian language course with no prerequisite requirements: NOR-INTRO, NOR-U1, or NOR-U1/2
- can document that you meet the prerequisite requirements for the course you are applying for through a completed Norwegian language course at UiB or another Norwegian university.
The placement test is not an exam and is not graded. It is used solely for internal placement purposes during the admission process for Norwegian language courses at the University of Bergen.
