The Photo Archive
The cultural history photo archive documents archaeological finds and fieldwork, architecture, church art, folk life, objects, nature and art, particularly from Western Norway. The archive contains photos from the late 19th century to the present day.
Ethnographic archive
The ethnographic archive contains documentation of the museum's ethnographic collections. Among other things, the archive holds a large collection of letters, which is partly digitized. The ethnographic object catalogues have been published and can be read in full. Contact the museum if you would like access to the archive.
Conservation archive
The archive mainly contains conservation reports from the 1950s to the present day.
Much of the archive has been digitized, but is not available online. Contact us for access.
Church art archive
The archive contains documentation of the museum's church art collection, and mainly consists of object catalogues. Several catalogues have been published.
