Mine forskningsfokus ligger på å dechiffrere fylogenien og systematikken til dyphavshaier, hvor jeg bruker morfologiske og fylogenomiske metoder (inkludert sekvensering av bevart museumsmateriale) for å utforske tilpasning, mangfold, fylogeografi og populasjonsstrukturer i nåtiden.
