Forskning
Jeg er PhD og klinisk nevropsykolog som jobber med kognitiv funksjon ved depresjon som postdoktor ved UiB. Mine forskningsinteresser inkluderer klinisk nevropsykologi generelt, og kognitiv funksjon ved psykiatriske lidelser spesielt. Jeg er særlig interessert i forholdet mellom affektivt materiale, emosjonsregulering, prosesseringshastighet, eksekutive funksjoner og psykiatriske symptomer, og hvordan disse kan forbedres. Intervensjoner for å forbedre kognisjon, som arbeidsminnetrening, var en betydelig del av mitt doktorgradsarbeid, og jeg er for tiden involvert i forskning på behandlingsresistens og nevrostimulering. Jeg underviser også i klinisk nevropsykologi ved seksjon for klinisk nevropsykologi ved UiB, og holder forelesning om demens, lærevansker, epilepsi og Wechsler-tester av generelle evner.
Jeg har klinisk erfaring fra alderspsykiatri, hvor jeg vurderte ulike former for demens og nevropsykiatriske sykdommer, samt barnehabilitering, hvor jeg vurderte lærevansker knyttet til utviklings- og nevrologiske tilstander hos barn og ungdom. Jeg ble spesialist i klinisk nevropsykologi våren 2020. Under min doktorgrad jobbet jeg deltid som nevropsykolog ved en poliklinikk for affektive lidelser ved Sandviken psykiatriske klinikk. Fra høsten 2023 til våren 2024 jobbet jeg heltid som nevropsykolog ved Nevrologisk avdeling, Haukeland universitetssykehus.
