About the office
The Brussels office was established in 2015 and is located at NOHRI (Norwegian House of Research and Innovation) and is strategically situated in the European Quarter in Brussels, a short distance from the EU institutions.
Acting as a link between Bergen and Brussels, we offer strategic advice and support to our home institution. Working closely with other university offices and research and innovation organisations in Brussels, we strive to expand UiB’s international network.
EU Policy Input from UiB
The University of Bergen is committed to ensuring that European research, innovation, and education policy is based on scientific knowledge, and we often contribute to EU policy consultations.
Internship for students
Each semester we offer two internship placements for UiB students who qualify for the courses SAMPOL291 or GOV371. As an intern you gain first-hand experience with the EU system and interest representation, while earning 30 ECTS credits and an Erasmus+ grant
