The Geophysical Institute at UiB conducts research on weather, climate and oceans. Around 150 employees and fellows in five research groups, internationally known for meteorology and oceanography.

Research

The research covers meteorology, climate dynamics, physical oceanography, biogeochemistry and renewable energy – from extreme weather and climate change to ocean currents and ocean acidification.
