PhD-candidate in Nordic Literature. The subject of my dissertation is negation and paradox in the authorship of Swedish poet and playwright Lars Norén. My research interests include Nordic Modernism, Critical Theory and the relationship between economy and literature.
Teaching
I lecture on August Strindberg, Henrik Ibsen, Knut Hamsun, Tarjei Vesaas, Karen Blixen, Dag Solstad, Lars Norén, Critical Theory and Modernist poetry.
In the autumn of 2025, I taught the course “Ibsen og Strindberg i lys av kritisk teori”, which explored seminal readings of Ibsen and Strindberg, by critics such as de Beauvoir, Freud, Lukács, Bloch and the Frankfurt School.
In the autumn of 2026 I am teaching the course "Scandinavian Literature, 19th Century".
