Short info

I have, apart from a break as a Deputy Judge in Stord, worked at the Faculty of Law. I have been a member of the Faculty Board for two terms, have sat on the central Equality Committee, and participated in several research projects. I have taught, among other, tort law, property law and land use.
Research

I research environmental law, spatial planning and related procedural requirements in general, and in sectors such as offshore wind. I teach in the faculty's PhD and master's programs. I am a member of expert committees, such as the Environmental Toxins Committee, NOU 2010:9, and the Nuclear Power Committee (ongoing), and deputy chair of the Appeals Board for Environmental Information.

Outreach

I communicate in writing and in words and actions to authorities, students, businesses, and administration, etc., on topics I research.

Teaching

I teach at the PhD and master's programs at UIB, supervise master's and PhD students at law faculties, and contribute to various continuing education courses, etc.

Projects
