Experience what it's like to take an in-person exam at UiB

Join our Demo exam this autumn, a simulated in-person exam held under authentic exam conditions. It's the perfect way to prepare, practice, and get familiar with the format before your actual exams

What is the exam DEMOEKS100?

This is your chance to experience a real exam setting at UiB.

  • You’ll sit the exam in an official exam venue
  • All standard rules and procedures apply
  • There are no academic questions — instead, the tasks help you learn how the exam system works, including editing tools and response formats
     

After the exam, from 15:30 to 16:00, you’ll have the opportunity to ask questions.

Date and Time

  • Exam Date: Monday, 29 September
  • Time: 15:00–15:30
  • Arrival: Please arrive by 14:30
  • Location: Will be published in Studentweb no later than three days before the exam
  • Registration deadline: 22 September

Note: No special accommodations will be provided for the demo exam DEMOEKS100.

Don’t forget to bring valid photo ID (with signature) or your student card.

How to sign up

Log in to Studentweb (external link) and follow these steps:

  1. Select "Aktive emner" (Active courses) from the top menu
  2. Search for the course code DEMOEKS100
  3. Choose "Vurderingsmelding" (Assessment registration) for this course

Computer system requirements

Make sure your computer meets the technical requirements for UiB’s exam system. You’ll also need to download the Safe Exam Browser (SEB), which locks your computer to the exam interface during the test.
