UiBtreet is your personal portal to useful information and services at UiB. On UiBtreet you will find a checklist for everything you need to do at the start of your studies and in connection to taking your exams.
You can navigate the site using useful links and customise the site by adding the links you use most. You will also find your timetable and exam information.
The useful thing about UiBtreet is that you can customise it so that you get the best possible overview of all the information you need as a student.

UiBtreet is designed to help you get an overview:
- View and tick off tasks related to starting your studies, beginning the semester, and preparing for exams.
- Gather as many messages and pieces of information as possible in one place.
- Make it easier to distinguish between essential information, useful tips, and what is relevant to you.
On the Notifications and Messages page in UiBtreet, you will receive notifications from Mitt UiB, selected emails from UiB, and various messages. See below for instructions on how to retrieve this information and enable push notifications.

You log in using your username, password, and two-factor authentication.
Customize your user experience
Set up notifications from Mitt UiB in UiBtreet
UiBtreet will give you push notifications when something happens in Mitt UiB or in UiBtreet. To receive notifications in UiBtreet, you need to:
- Download the UiBtreet app from the App Store or Google Play, where you usually download apps.
If you have already downloaded the app on your iPhone, you will need to update it in the App Store before proceeding. - Log on to the UiBtreet app
- Go to the "My notifications" page
- Press "Customize notifications"
- Press the top button to enable push notifications for the device
- Press "Allow notifications from MittUiB"
- Accept request to approve UiBtreet as integration with MittUiB
- You will be sent back to UiBtreet when you have approved and everything should be activated
- Go to MittUiB's notification settings to choose what you want to be notified about
Set up notifications for specific emails in UiBtreet
You can receive notifications in UiBtreet for a certain type of the emails we send to you. These are the emails that are also stored in the document archive in Studentweb, and can contain information on notifications or more practical matters related to your study program. You will still receive them as emails as well.
How do you turn it on?
You must check off that you want to receive notifications:
- Log in to UiBtreet or open your UiBtreet app
- Go to "Notifications and messages" and select "Configure push notifications"
- Click on "Enable push notifications from Studentweb".
If you only want to receive the messages in UiBtreet without push notifications, turn off the push notification after you have received one push notification.
