Science and Technology Library

The Science and Technology Library, affiliated with the Faculty of Science and Technology, is located on the 1st floor of Realfagbygget, Allégaten 41. The library has collections in mathematics, informatics, physics, chemistry, biology, earth science and technology.

Shelf overview

The books are arranged according to the Dewey system. The main subject areas:

  • 000 – Informatics and Library and information science
  • 510–519 – Mathematics
  • 520–539 – Astronomy and physics
  • 540–549 – Chemistry
  • 550–559 – Earth science (geology, hydrology and meteorology)
  • 570–599 – Biology and life sciences
  • 610–619 – Medical borderline areas
  • 620–629 – Technology
  • 630–669 – Agriculture, chemical engineering and industry
Borrowing and returns

A machine for loans and returns is available in the library. Reserved material is collected from the pickup shelf. You receive a pickup code by SMS or email.
