The Behavioral Data Science pillar focuses on methods and algorithms for simulating, predicting and changing user and group behavior in complex systems. Our core competences lie in Cognitive Science, User Modelling, Applied Machine Learning and Recommendation Systems. Core group members have experience ranging from theoretic and basic algorithmic research to applied industry oriented research. Within CEDAS we collaborate with the Visualization, Machine Learning and Statistics pillars.
