FOLIO DIGITAL Symposium

Over two and a half days, researchers, artists, and academics gather in the first printing house of the Americas to ask how technological change — artificial intelligence above all — is reshaping the book. The program examines how we conceive and produce books, how storytelling forms and structures are shifting, and what happens where print tradition meets computational culture and the work of machines, software, and code.

Convened by the Metropolitan Autonomous University, Cuajimalpa (UAM Cuajimalpa) with the Center for Digital Narratives (CDN) at the University of Bergen, the symposium brings together contributors from CDN, UAM, UNAM, and other institutions in Mexico City, pairing presentations of ongoing research with local perspectives on digital art, literature, and computational narrative. Invited Mexican contributors include Vinicius Marquet, Rodolfo Mata, Mónica Nepote, Eugenio Tisselli, Nohelia Meza, Isabella Galina, and Mariana Roa Oliva.
