CIH Board, Guidelines and Strategy

CIH is placed at the Department of Global Public Health and Primary Care at the Faulty of Medicine. The CIH Board includes the Dean and all the Department leaders at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Bergen. Centre for International Health Guidelines was stablished by the University of Bergen 18.12.1991, revised by the Faculty of Medicine again in 2025.

Guidelines and Strategy

Since its establishment in 1988, CIH has been firmly embedded within the University of Bergen’s academic strategy for global and development-oriented research.
