Pandemic Breakfast in February
The goal of the pandemic breakfast is to get acquainted with ongoing research on pandemic-related issues and future crises/multi-crises, and to inspire collaboration between various disciplines to initiate knowledge preparedness from multiple perspectives.
We are happy to welcome you all to our Pandemic Breakfast in February.
Senior medical Officer in FHI, Ernst Kristian Rødland (external link) and his team at NIPH/FHI are currently publishing a report (external link) summarizing what we know about the health consequences of climate change in the Nordic countries. The work maps both direct effects—such as heatwaves, floods, and landslides—and indirect impacts on infectious diseases, non‑communicable diseases, mental health, food and water security, and pressures on healthcare systems. Their findings aim to strengthen preparedness, guide future risk assessments, and support climate‑resilient health strategies
After the presentation we open for comments, questions and discussions.
Tea and coffee are served!
