VISTA 40 year anniversary

This year, VISTA turns 40 and was celebrated during VISTA week on 5-7th of November, with one day dedicated to researchers associated with the four centers. A video was made for this occasion, see below.

"The VISTA collaboration between Equinor and The Norwegian Academy of Science and
Letters was founded in 1985 to support basic research contributing to the long-term
management of petroleum resources on the continental shelf.
The goal was to stimulate Norwegian researchers to pursue interdisciplinary scientific
development in relevant disciplines for the oil industry.
Since then, VISTA has educated hundreds of young researchers and made valuable
research breakthroughs possible, with significant fundamental and applied value.
Today, VISTA is financing four research centres. Their basic research contributes significantly to the energy transition, renewable energy and solutions for a low-carbon future."
