About MINDS
The initiative broadly seeks to expand knowledge-sharing and enrich students’ academic and career aspirations in order to provide them with opportunities to gain an authentic experience in system dynamics. Through a collaborative effort, MINDS hosts a series of mentoring sessions, special topics seminars, and platforms for sharing the work and ideas of our students.
Tutoring Sessions
Starting out in a new field at the graduate level is no easy feat. MINDS Mentors (second-year master’s students) are ever ready to support the new cohort in their course work. Mentors share their experiences, help clarify concepts and techniques from lectures, as well as provide feedback and support with elements of students’ current modelling work.
Seminars and Special Topics
MINDS hosts seminars on special topics within System Dynamics, delving deeper into a certain aspect or going beyond the current curriculum of the programme. Presenters range from existing master’s students, PhD candidates, alumni, to external guest speakers.
Platform for Sharing
Beyond internal knowledge-sharing, MINDS is intent on sharing our students’ modelling work with the wider public. Visit the curated MINDS model library (external link), which proudly shares selected models and interactive learning environments built by our students.
To stay updated on current activities, follow our tweets (external link) and posts on LinkedIn (external link) and our videos on Youtube (external link). If you are an alumnus of the programme, join the Alumni Network group (external link) to keep in touch with us. For collaborations and enquiries, contact the MINDS Coordinator.
