Computing servers
The Department of Geosciences at UiB currently has 6 Linux servers for scientific calculations, with 4 CPUs and up to 384 Gb in memory.
About
One of these servers (Delta) is a shared resource for the entire institute. The other machines are restricted for use by those working on topics related to projects within geodynamic, geophysical and seismological modeling.
The Linux servers are managed by Øyvind Natvik. Please contact him if you have any questions about access.
