Flow Cytometry
Analysis
BD Fortessa (external link) equipped with HTS & four lasers: 407 nm, 488 nm, 561nm, and 640 nm and 16 detectors
BD Accuri C6 equipped with two lasers, 488nm and 640nm and 4 detectors
Sony ID7000 (external link) equipped with 5 lasers, 355nm, 407 nm, 488 nm, 561nm, and 640 nm, analysis by 24 tube rack or 96 well plate.
Cell sorting
Sony SH800 (external link) cell sorter equipped with two lasers, 48nnm and 561nm lasers and 6 detectors. Allows sorting in two tubes simultaneously (15ml) or plates (96 well plate)
BD Symphony S6 (external link) equipped with four lasers, 405nm, 488nm, 561nm & 647nm and 21 detectors. Allows sorting in six tubes simultaneously tubes (1.5, 5, 15ml) or plates (96 well plate)
Mass Cytometry
The facility is equipped with CyTOF XT and Helios/Hyperion systems, supporting both suspension-based analysis and spatial imaging of tissues. These platforms provide powerful tools for comprehensive cellular profiling and in-depth exploration of complex biological systems.

CytofXT (external link) for analysing cell suspension with 40+ protein markers simultaneously.
Tissues analysis
Hyperion Image system (external link) capable of analyzing fresh frozen tissues, of FFPE tissues with 40+ protein markers at subcellular resolution in fixed tissue sections or cell smears.

Reagents for mass cytometry
An antibody reagent repository has been purchased and aliquotes of antibodies can be purchased though the booking system. This will allow researches and groups to more easily test mass cytometry on their own samples. This will give then better understanding of what they can do and they can get their hands on some data on their specific samples.

Instrument prices
Prices for flow cytometry
Fees are set to cover the cost required for use of the instruments, service contract, and salary. The booking time on the cell sorter and analyser unsupervised or supervised is minimum 1 hr (except Accuri C6). It takes 30min-1hr to set up the sorter before sorting and cleaning takes 15-20 minutes. All prices are pr hour.
