Imaging for diagnostics

This research area covers several research interests: physical properties of digital radiographic systems, post-processing methods applied to improve diagnostics, subjective assessment of image quality, diagnostic performance of intraoral, panoramic and CBCT radiographs in various diagnostic tasks.

On-going projects
  1. Image-based functional analysis of upper airway in children and adults
  2. Application of CBCT among children with impacted canine
  3. Low dose CBCT in cleft patients
  4. Application of CBCT prior to mandibular third molar removal in adults
