About the research project

This PhD project explores how families with minority backgrounds perceive and experience interactions with the child welfare services. In order to gain a better understanding of their experiences, both adolescents and their parents with refugee background were interviewed. A central question in the project was how ethnic minority families can secure equal participation (user involvement).
