KLAR contributes to bringing menopause into workplace conversations. Since the launch of the project, researchers affiliated with KLAR have carried out more than 100 dissemination and outreach activities across the country. Municipalities, public agencies, private companies, organisations, and others have put menopause and working life on the agenda. This has resulted in thousands of women and men at employee, managerial, and organisational levels gaining greater knowledge about women’s health, menopause, and work.

KLAR puts menopause and working life on the agenda with a new guideline for the City of Bergen

The project was an important contributor to the City of Bergen’s new menopause guideline (external link). The guideline contains information about menopause, what employees can do themselves, what managers can do, and what colleagues can do. The guideline is part of the City of Bergen’s Attendance (Workplace Presence) Project.
