How to apply for grants for courses or conferences
The following requirements must be fulfilled:
- The course or conference must be provided by an acknowledged institution.
- As a general rule, a course should give the applicant ECTS credits.
- As a general rule, when the application is for a conference, the applicant should give an oral or poster presentation at the conference.
- Similar courses cannot be available nearby.
- Applicants who have received funding from NutriNOR before, are still eligible to apply, but will not be prioritized.
- Applications must include a budget overview with reasonable travel and accommodation expenses.
- The course or conference must arguably be relevant and beneficial for the applicant’s academic or professional development or career.
- The applicant must hand in a report (one page) to NutriNOR after the course or conference.
Your application should include the following (max 2 pages):
- Information about the course or conference (title, dates, location, program, ECTS credits, etc.)
- An account of the relevance of the course or conference for your academic work, and an account of your expected benefits of attending the course or conference.
- A budget outlining your expenses associated with attending the course or conference (registration fee, travel costs, accommodation costs). You should choose environmentally friendly means of transportation when possible.
- A confirmation from the course or conference provider that your abstract has been accepted.
