Search in legal sources
Are you unaccustomed to searching for legal sources on your own? In our library search workshop, we set aside two hours to give those of you who are writing a master’s thesis an overview of where to search, which databases are most relevant to you, and how best to find the sources you need.
The sessions are structured so that we do a quick group overview, before each individual can try things out a bit on their own during the session. The goal is not to complete the literature search during the session, but to give you a good start. Becoming proficient at source searching is part of the learning objectives of the master's course and also a useful skill for becoming a more independent jurist.
The timing of the workshop is tailored to students who are to submit their project outline on 15 October 2026, but students writing their master's thesis in the fall of 2026 are also welcome.
If interested, we can also look at reference management tools such as EndNote or Zotero.
