Mine tematiske forskningsområder er:
- Utdanningspolitikk og utvikling og iverksetting av lære-/rammeplaner og utdanningsreformer
- Konstruksjon av identitet for elever/studenter og andre grupper av lærende, samt yrkesgrupper-/profesjoner
- Tverrfaglig kunnskapsutvikling og samarbeid
Jeg har høy kompetanse på en rekke kvalitative metoder og da særlig dokumentanalyse og ulike former for kvalitative intervju. I mitt analytiske arbeid jobber jeg med utgangspunkt i diskursive, narrative og/eller posisjoneringsteoretiske tilnærminger.
