Forskning

Ole J. Martinsen har omfattende erfaring fra industrien etter en 33 år lang karriere i Equinor, og innen anvendt geovitenskap. Hans arbeid omfatter forskning og lederroller i industrien, som sjefgeolog, direktør (VP) for letevirksomhet og gjennomgang av investeringsprosjekter på konsernnivå, inkludert alle verdikjeder fra olje og gass til lavkarbonløsninger, fornybar energi og kritiske mineraler. Han har komplementert sine lederroller i bransjen med lang erfaring innen integrering av feltobservasjoner, undergrunnsdata og geologiske modeller for å støtte beslutninger knyttet til leting og utbygging. Han har bidratt til utvikling og anvendelse av sedimentologi, sekvensstratigrafi og source-to-sink og har publisert i utstrakt grad i internasjonale tidsskrifter med fagfellevurdering.
