Welcome back to our Geo seminars. We are happy to invite you to the seminar led by Håvard Haarstad, Professor & Director at Centre for Climate and Energy Transformation (CET) who will speaking to us about his new book titled Studying sustainable urban development (‘Å studere bærekraftig byutvikling’). We will meet physically, but you can follow the presentation via Zoom, too.

Cities are growing, and it is critical for our future that they are developed in a sustainable way. This book gives a broad introduction to sustainable urban development – from the global challenges to concrete issues on how to create good neighborhoods and streets. Based on new research, the author connects theory and practice, and discusses tools for future urban planning.
