Where will you receive information as a student at UiB?

As a student, you receive information about everything from notifications concerning your classes, to practical deadlines, guidelines, activities and student life. The University of Bergen distributes information across several channels – so where do you find what?

Mitt UiB and UiBtreet

To help you follow information from the University of Bergen and find what you need more easily, we use two main channels:

  • Mitt UiB – everything that concerns your courses and your classes.
  • UiBtreet – everything that concerns student life, practical matters in your daily study routine, and other notices from the administration.

When you know what belongs where, it becomes easier to keep an overview – and you avoid wondering whether you have missed something important.

Mitt UiB – everything you need for your classes

Mitt UiB is the place where you keep track of your courses. Here you will find everything related to your studies, your classes, and your learning activities, including:

  • Teaching schedules and class information
  • Reading lists and preparation
  • Assignments and submissions
  • Academic notifications from lecturers
  • Presentations and resources
  • Academic dialogue
  • Administrative information related to each individual course

In short: If it concerns a course you are taking, go to Mitt UiB.
