The AI Centre for the Empowerment of Human Learning (AI LEARN) is an interdisciplinary and intersectoral effort led by UiB and NTNU.
About the research centre
AI is transforming the way we learn, work, live, and understand ourselves and others, reshaping human interactions and societal structures. The rapid pace of AI development presents both opportunities and challenges, requiring societies to adapt responsibly to emerging socio-technical and socio-political disruptions.
The research of AI LEARN focuses on the interactions between human and artificial intelligence (AI). The centre is dedicated to understanding and shaping the human dimensions of AI interaction and adoption for sustainable, inclusive & responsible integration across both public and private sectors and for all citizens.
AI LEARN has 35 national and international partners from academia and the public and private sectors.
