Annual BCEPS International Symposium
BCEPS hosts an annual International Symposium to which our key partners, research teams from various country teams, funders, and other collaborators are invited. The Symposium features plenary and parallel sessions on all of BCEPS' research focus areas taking place over three days in mid-June at Solstrand Hotel near Bergen, Norway. The BCEPS International Symposium is an invitation-only conference.
Thematic focus areas for the Symposium include:
- global health financing and priority setting in light of the changing world political landscape
- challenges in measuring health, longevity, consumption and equity impact
- evaluation of interventions inside and outside the health sector
- experiences using the FairChoices: DCP Analytics Tool in national health priority setting processes
The BCEPS International Symposium provides an arena for BCEPS to gather members of its wider network for discussions relating to ongoing work and other relevant topics.
Furthermore, BCEPS Early Career Research Hub members, consisting of PhD and postdoctoral research fellows, are given the opportunity to present their work and learn from international experts.
