CellPHY
A proposed Norwegian Centre of Excellence at the University of Bergen, using quantum sensing to research biological problems.
About the research centre
The CellPHY – Norwegian Centre for Cellular Physics will build Norway’s first centre dedicated to understanding living cells through the laws of physics. A key part of the centre is the development of advanced quantum sensing technologies that can measure physical and chemical processes inside living cells with unprecedented precision. The centre is groundbreaking because it combines quantum technology and life sciences to establish a new research field called Cellular Systems Physics.
