Proposal writing for dummies
Being a talented, ground-breaking researcher is not enough if you want to win research grants. You must also master the curious art of proposal writing, that is unlike other academic genres you may be familiar with. We will guide you to the first steps of winning the evaluators over and getting funding for your project.
Course description
This course is designed to equip young UiB researchers and support staff with the skills necessary to write effective and compelling research proposals, for funding agencies such as the Norwegian Research Council and the EU. The course will provide you with tips for writing research proposals, as well as hands-on training. An experienced UiB researcher will share personal reflections around the proposal writing process and coordinations of collaborative projects, as well as tips that he wished he knew when he was a young researcher himself.
