The brain cancer immunology and therapy group will participate at the science fair in Bergen, together with the patient organization for brain tumors, hjernesvulstforeningen.

Together with the patient organization Hjernesvulstforeningen, they with have a stand where they will give introductory lectures on cancer and DNA for a young and grown-up audience. They will explain how the disease can occur, and what a cancer researcher does. The audience can isolate their own DNA from saliva, as well as look at their epithelial cells in a microscope. In order to compare their own healthy cells, they should also see cancer cells growing in medium in a microscope.
