Ecological Agency
Ecological Agency explores questions that illuminate the ecological relationships among living beings, natural and built environments, life cycles, and human activities.
About the research group
The research group brings together design, architecture, care, and ecological thinking to address urgent planetary, social, and spatial challenges.
Research themes are structured into four interrelated categories:
1. Health, Care & Compassion
Exploring how ecological thinking can reshape care systems, community health, and inclusive design of shared spaces.
2. Human & More-than-Human Relations
Focusing on ethical and spatial entanglements between humans, animals, plants, and ecosystems.
3. Environmental Change & Planetary Perspectives
Addressing large-scale transformations through design-led responses to environmental and climate-related crises.
4. Spatial Ecologies
Investigating the interplay between architecture, landscape, and environmental systems.
