Endotrain Doctoral Training Network
EndoTrain is a Horizon Europe Doctoral Training Network dedicated to transforming the diagnosis and management of adrenal disorders through cutting-edge digital tools.
About the research project
Digital endocrinology is revolutionizing healthcare by integrating technology, data, and personalized treatment. This enables more precise, efficient, and accessible care, challenging traditional medical models. To elevate digital endocrinology to a higher level of knowledge and translational value, an integrative approach is required—shifting from the conventional model of multiple single-discipline experts to one where diverse themes converge within a single expert.
In this rapidly evolving field, interdisciplinary experts are better equipped to communicate across domains such as clinical medicine, data science (including machine learning and artificial intelligence), mathematics, engineering, biochemistry, biotechnology, ethics, and law—while ensuring that academic findings align with societal needs.
EndoTrain was established to meet the demand for interdisciplinary experts who can advance research and clinical application in digital endocrinology. This doctoral network brings together leading researchers and entrepreneurs across disciplines and sectors.
The highly qualified fellows will receive outstanding training in digital endocrinology and will be well prepared to tackle broader challenges beyond endocrinology. They will form the next generation of clinicians, researchers, and innovators, strengthening Europe’s capacity to navigate the rapidly changing landscape of digital medicine.
