How and where to archive your research data
The goal of the University of Bergen is that data resulting from research activity should be made readily available for reuse in accordance with FAIR-principles. Researchers are encouraged to make their data openly available as early as possible in the research process. This webinar will prepare you to do just that.
Sharing and re-using quality-assured research data is considered good scientific practice. Most funders, for example the Norwegian Research Council or Horizon Europe, as well as more and more publishers, require that the research data from a project is made openly available. A guiding principle has become "as open as possible, as restricted as necessary". This means that research data should be openly available unless prevented by legitimate considerations relating to for example security, protection of personal privacy, IPR, commercial aspects or trade secrets.
In this webinar, you will get a short introduction to the FAIR (external link)-principles, and how and where you can archive your research data.
