Bergen Open Access Publishing

Bergen Open Access Publishing (BOAP) is a publishing service that offers researchers and research groups at the University of Bergen a free service for digital, open access publishing of journals and series.

What BOAP offers

BOAP offers a publishing solution for academic communities that want to establish a scholarly open access journal or book series. The service includes:

  • Technical hosting of the Open Journal Systems publishing platform
  • DOI assignment
  • Training of editors and editorial staff in using the publishing platform
  • Ongoing user support

The editorial team is responsible for editorial work, peer review and publishing.

Terms and conditions for using BOAP
