The museum is located on Nygårdshøyden, at Muséplassen 3 in central Bergen.
By Bybanen: Get off at Byparken and walk up the hill, or at Florida and walk through Nygårdsparken.
On foot: About 10–15 minutes from central Bergen.
Parking
There are few parking spaces at the museum.
Car parks
The nearest car parks within walking distance are Klostergarasjen, Bygarasjen and Grieghallen.
Directions to the museum gardens
The museum gardens each have their own directions. Muséhagen is located by the museum in the city centre, while Bergen Botanical Garden and the Arboretum are located at Milde, south of the city.
