Civil Procedure and Dispute Resolution
The group researches a broad range of topics within civil procedure and alternative dispute resolution, including national, European and comparative perspectives. Current topics of interests include evidence law, access to justice for small businesses, and children's access to justice.
About the research group
The research interests of the members of the research group include traditional civil procedure topics, such as rules of evidence and contracts in civil proceedings, alternatives to court proceedings, European civil procedure law, and socio-legal approaches to courts and dispute resolution.
The members of the group publish widely both nationally and internationally and are engaged in research projects and cooperation with scholars across the globe. The group regularly invites both other Norwegian and international scholars to seminars and research meetings.
The members of the group also engage in cooperation with practitioners, contribute to legislative work through evaluations and consultations, and regularly have public speaking engagements for various professionals.
