About the topic
Human geographers are focused on transformation and how society adapts to and mitigates CO2 emissions. Climate transformation is a human geography phenomenon. Such transformations play out across global processes and local relationships; and must be understood through the interaction between people, social structures and nature. It is also political, relevant to public debate and the choices facing society today.
The work of human geographers is highly relevant to transition in municipalities and at other levels of administration and organisations.
