Nanophysics
Material on the nanoscale is a unique size-range as we find the transitional zone between the quantum world of individual atoms and the classical world of bulk material. The quantum size effects can dramatically alter electrical, optical and magnetic material properties.
About the research group
The Nanophysics research group is an experimental research group doing research on materials, structures and devices where one or more dimensions are reduced to the nanoscale. The research pushes the international forefront in the field and strives to do fundamental research as well as applied and device oriented.
